BRANDON COCKRUM

I am a Human-Centered Researcher and Designer with passion and talent for scoping research plans, conducting research activities, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights. My work has been primarily focused in service design, communications, marketing, and product development.

 

I have more than 10 years of professional communications and marketing experience working with small and large businesses, startups, non-profits and creative agencies. I am no stranger to hard work in the headquarters of a billion dollar business or on the ground floor of a small business.

 

My most valuable skills are building and executing rigorous research strategies and developing creative and innovative concepts to address real business challenges. I have a wide variety of skills and the curiosity and learning agility to pick up new ones.

 

My strongest skills are developing research plans, conducting research with ends users, problem solving, creating engaging content and experiences, learning and sensemaking, facilitating creativity, and being a great teammate. My kids think my BBQ and home-made pizza are pretty nice skills as well.

 

I am a collaborative leader with more than 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility on projects featuring cross-functional internal and external teams. I also coach youth soccer and hold a multiple coaching licenses.

 

I am the inventor of the world-famous Bringin' Home the Bacon scratch-off lottery ticket, nominated for 2015 North American Scratch-off Lottery Game of the Year. Oink, oink.
